This study examined influence of public opinion of Abuja residents on radio programming on environmental safety. The survey research method was adopted for the study. The subjects were drawn through convenient sampling technique. A five scale Lilert questionnaire was used to obtain responses from the subjects. Data collected for this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics of frequency, percentage. The findings showed that the radio stations in Abuja Municipal Area Council have not done enough in terms of awareness creation towards positive attitudes on environmental safety. The findings show that the respondents have not been practically influenced by radio messages on environmental sanitations. In the light of the above, the study recommends that: It is important to have regular but aggressive sensitisation campaigns on environmental sanitations management by the radio stations in AMAC, which as a matter of significance, should be concerned of all stakeholders in environmental safety in AMAC. It is imperative for radio stations in AMAC to regularly sensitise the public on the need to manage our waste properly and other environmental issues.
