Abstract

Remi Raji, with five volumes of poetry, has become one of the prolific poets of the emerging generation of writers in Nigerian literature in English. The poet Raji is primarily preoccupied with the fate of his society largely imagined as a nation – his nation; he regards versification as an engagement in the socio-political discourse of his land, aimed at forging an equitable society.
